Cancellations are made through the booking confirmation email or by calling reservations directly; either is accepted and both are confirmed in writing within the hour. Refunds return to the original payment method and clear in three to five working days. Rates booked under a non-refundable promotion are marked as such at the point of booking and are excluded from this policy, which is stated again on the payment screen before you commit. Where a flight is cancelled by the airline and you can show it, we waive the late-cancellation charge - that situation is common enough here that we would rather write it down than decide case by case.

Self check-in: Not offered. Every arrival is met at the desk, which is also how the airport shuttle is reconciled.
A passport or national ID for every adult guest, and the card used to book if payment was taken in advance.
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is 11:00. Because most international flights land overnight, the front desk is staffed 24 hours and early arrivals are held in the lounge with breakfast available from 06:00. A room before 08:00 needs the previous night booked; there is no way around that and we would rather say so than take the booking and disappoint you.

One night minimum, thirty nights maximum. Bookings open twelve months ahead and close two hours before check-in, so a same-day booking from the airport is possible. Longer stays are arranged directly with reservations rather than online.

Lovely, though the pool gets busy
Beautiful property and very friendly team. The terrace pool is small for the size of the hotel and fills up by mid-morning at weekends. Go early. Rooms and food both excellent.

Family Suite is a genuine family room
Two adults, three kids, and the separate childrens room meant everyone actually slept. The kitchenette saved us a fortune on room service. Under-12s ate free in the brasserie as advertised, which I half expected to be a catch.

Excellent stay, slow breakfast service
Rooms are spotless and the lake terrace is beautiful. Only complaint is that breakfast took nearly forty minutes on the Saturday - they were clearly short-staffed. Everything else was faultless.

The only hotel I trust for early flights
I fly out of Entebbe most months and this is now the only place I book. The kitchen genuinely runs 24 hours, which matters when your flight lands at 2am. Executive King is worth the upgrade for the lounge access.

Worth it for the sunset alone
We booked the Lakeview Twin for two nights in transit and ended up extending. The balcony faces due west over the lake and the staff bring you a drink out there without being asked. Four minutes from the airport is not an exaggeration - we timed it.
