Just a stone's throw from Flic en Flac and Tamarin on the west coast of Mauritius, the Cavalia club offers you the opportunity to discover horse riding during an introductory course at Cascavelle. During 30 minutes for the youngest (3-6 years old), and one hour for the oldest (7 years old and more), you will approach the essential points of this sport in relation with the horse:
- for the youngest, the discovery will first be done on foot, alongside the pony, then in the saddle for a familiarization with the animal in both ways, with the discovery of the vocabulary specific to horseback riding;
- for the older, the discovery will begin in the stall with the preparation of the horse, before the one-hour lesson in the arena where you will be introduced to the basics of horseback riding (riding, walking at a walk, trotting, etc.).
Cavalia's instructors want to connect riders to their mounts, while teaching them respect, care and love for the horse. All of this is done in safe and supervised conditions that will quickly make you more independent!
